“Though we travel the world over to find the beautiful, we must must carry it with us or we find it out.”-Ralph Waldo Emerson
I feel this quote touches home to a lot of people who are still trying to find themselves in this world. There are people who are lost in the world who think by traveling they will find their sense of worth and belonging. Those people must realize that the real beauty comes from within themselves or they risk their whole lives trying to find something that is impossible to obtain. Everyone was created with value, no matter what race, how short or tall you are, or if you were born with exceptionalities or not. We also must realize that beauty is subjective to the individual, someone might think that my dog is adorable but another person might see my dog as ugly. We must not focus so much on what other people perceive as beautiful but instead on what we think is beautiful. For me a simple sunrise and sunset is beautiful and thats what the quote is trying to say that beauty comes from the eye of the beholder.

“The best art always seems effortless…”-Stephen Sondheim
The most beautiful art is the most simplest art. For example, the Mona Lisa is just a painting of a women but the mystery of the woman in the painting and how well it was created makes it a masterpiece. I can also relate this quote to sport because I feel that all sports is an art form of this own. In football, the quarterback has the hardest job of any sports. He must be able to conduct his offense flawlessly if he wants a chance to score, and thats easier said then done. If he’s able to pick apart the defense, and score. It is similar to a conductor who is directing his orchestra. And for me when that is done it looks so effortlessly, it is truly a sight to behold.

“In times like these, it’s helpful to remember that there have always been times like these.”-Paul Harvey
We must realize that everyone has gone through bad times at some point in their lives. It is how we go through those hard times and what we learn from them that makes us a better person in the end. For me personally, the hardest time in time my life was when my grandpa died. He was my best friend and we could talk about anything and his death made me feel very depressed and lonely. Awhile after his death, I started to think to myself whats the point of being sad. My grandfather lived a good life and didn’t suffered when he died and he was loved by all his family. So there was no point in feeling bad for myself, death is inevitable and sooner we can comprehend and accept it the happier we will be in our lives.
